Organica Candle Company was founded by best friends Suzy and Megan, who began new chapters in their lives and decided to create something meaningful together. Their shared love of natural beauty, simple elegance, and the way fragrance and candlelight transforms a space inspired the birth of Organica.

Every candle is hand-poured with care using sustainable materials and non-toxic ingredients, reflecting their belief that the things that fill a home should be as good for you as they are beautiful.

Each design reflects the rustic+elegance feel they both love — vintage, with touch of contemporary charm, warm light, and beautiful fragrance that creates peace and beauty in the home.

Our Philosophy

Intentional materials, thoughtfully chosen

ORGANICA is about intention. Our name reflects a commitment to thoughtful sourcing, clean materials, and conscious craftsmanship—guided by research, responsibility, and respect for the spaces we live in.

Our candles are designed for people who value beauty, wellness, and responsible living. Every material we use is intentionally chosen to balance clean burning, human safety, environmental impact, and long-term sustainability.

Natural, Clean-Burning Wax

We use a 100% natural coconut–soy wax blend, free from paraffin and petroleum-derived ingredients. This wax is:

  • Renewable and biodegradable
  • Vegan and cruelty-free
  • Clean-burning with minimal soot
  • Designed for excellent scent throw without additives

Our coconut–soy blend is vegetable based, allowing us to offer a cleaner, more responsible alternative without compromise.

Thoughtfully Screened Fragrance

Our fragrances are created using non-toxic fragrance materials that meet rigorous safety standards. These materials are manufactured without:

  • Organ toxins
  • Acute toxins
  • CMRs (carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive toxins)
  • Phthalates
  • Ingredients listed on California Prop 65

This careful screening allows us to craft complex, elevated scent profiles while prioritizing the health of the spaces they’re enjoyed in.

Why Not Essential Oils Alone?

Essential oils are natural, but “natural” does not always mean non-toxic or sustainable. Some essential oils can pose risks to humans and pets when heated, and many require enormous quantities of plant material and energy to produce—raising concerns about overharvesting and environmental strain.

Clean, Metal-Free Wicks

Our wicks are made from 100% natural spun cotton, with paper threads woven in for structure and stability—never metal. They are also paraffin-free, ensuring a cleaner, more consistent burn without unnecessary additives.
